Acer has today announced the release of an updated version of its A1 and B1 Android tablets, kicking off with the Iconia A1-830 that now has a 7.9 inch IPS display with a 1600 x 1200 resolution and 253ppi as well as a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Clover Trail CPU backed by 1GB of RAM.
Acer also states that the tablet will offer 7.5 hours of battery, and will feature 16GB of storage plus up to 32GB of extra storage with a microSD card, as well as Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean pre-installed.
Alongside which there’s also a 1080p rear-facing camera and a 720p front facing camera, as well as connectivity with the Acer Crunch Keyboard and the Acer Crunch Cover.
The Acer Iconia A1-830 will be available before March for €169 (£140).
Next up is the Acer Iconia B1-720 which features a 7 inch screen and features a 1.3GHz dual-core processor, with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and 32GB of microSD card expansion.
The Acer Iconia B1 will be available for €129 (£107) from mid-January, the 3G version will also be available from then for €179.
