Android Police have just revealed some interesting code that was found in the latest YouTube App Update, version 4..9, revealed by a commenter on one of their earlier posts.

The code reveals something which has been rumored for a quite a long period of time now, Google may be launching new paid channels for the YouTube service, something which I have been unsure of, since I couldn’t see myself paying for any of the content currently available on YouTube.

Here’s the code that was found anyway:

<string name=”paid_channel_subscribe_message”>You can only subscribe to this paid channel on your computer.</string>

You can only unsubscribe from this paid channel on your computer.

Basically it reveals that “You can only unsubscribe/ subscribe from this paid channel on your computer.” Which proves the rumors correct, we should hear more soon.
