Today V-Moda announced their latest wireless headphones, the Crossfade 2 Wireless which are the new version of the previously released Crossfade Wireless headphones, improving them with the addition of high-resolution audio for improved sound quality and a range of other improvements.
Each ear cup features a 50mm dual-diaphragm driver with a CCAW (Copper Clad Aluminium Wire) high-res coil, meaning that they can capably play up to 24-bit/96kHz audio from a range of sources with more dynamic range, precise sound and a high-frequency definition.
However, that only works when you are plug in via a cable.
Over Bluetooth, you lose the hi-res audio in favour of wireless audio playback, the Rose Gold model also comes with aptX Bluetooth.
V-Moda has also fitted the ear cups out with memory foam for better comfort and better noise isolation, but without active noise cancellation as V-Moda says that this negatively affects sound quality.
To top that off, it also has a battery life that is said to last up to 14 hours and the headphones can be personalised with a range of shields and a BoomPro Mic for gaming. It also has a portable design thanks to its patent-pending CliqFold design that allows it to fold down into a small package.
The V-Moda Crossfade 2 Wireless can be picked up now in Matte Black or Matte White for £300, or in Rose Gold with aptX Bluetooth for £330.
