After announcing the introduction of the system a few weeks back, Valve have today revealed a few more details for the Steam Machine project, revealing the kind of specs that will be included in the system, the company shed some new light on what kind of system we can look forward to.

The new Steam Machine will be fitted with either a Intel i7-4770, some i5-4570, or i3 processor alongside either a NVIDIA Titan, GTX780, GTX760, or a GTX660 GPU. There will also be 6GB DDR3-1600 RAM and 3GB GDDR5 RAM fitted alongside a 1TB/8GB Hybrid SSHD drive as well as a 450w 80Plus Gold power supply.

Valve’s Greg Commer also mentioned on the company’s blog that the Steam Machine box will measure 12 x 12.4 x 2.9 inches.

Of course at the moment that is only for the prototype model which will be sent out to the chosen 300 beta testers for the system.
