Earlier this week Valve made their fourth planned announcement for this week in the form of the Steam Controller, built to partner with the already announced SteamOS and the Steam Machines beta program, the Steam Controller has been built with a design different to anything else on the market, featuring a ton of new features that will be sure to amaze any avid gamer.
Steam say that the controller has been made to work with any Steam game be it from the past, present or even the future.
Featuring trackpads on either side, Valve say that the controller will provide users with more speed and accuracy than a normal gaming mouse, and they are also both clickable and provide haptic feedback, they can even play audio waveforms and function as their own speaker system.
In the center of the controller there’s another touchscreen that can display information related to the game you are currently playing, and to top it all off the Steam Controller is also hackable, allowing users to customise to their own needs.
