Apple has run out of cat names for OSX, so now we get locations around California – first up Mavericks! OSX 10.9 may have some massive tweaks under the hood, but in my opinion not much in the way of new user features.

Basically what we get are a few new ways to organize our work and get more info quickly. I like some of the new features and others are just, meh! The one thing of note for me is how Apple is blurring the lines between iOS and OSX, with more social integration than ever before.

Mavericks will help keep you notified anytime your friends or colleagues leave you messages or status updates across a wide gamut of social sites. Let’s take a firsthand look at some of the new features.
