A new video has been released today that provides a closer look at Apple’s “spaceship” campus.

Posted by the YouTube user jmcminn, the video has been captured using a GoPro Hero 3+ camera that is attached to a Phantom 2 Drone, providing an ariel view of the foundations of the campus.

Once completed Apple say that the campus will house more than 12,000 employees and up to 2,400 vehicles in the campus’ underground car park.

Apple expect that the project will be completed in 2016, at which point the building will take up a massive 2.8 million square feet of space, which also includes the various other buildings that the build will make up, including an R&D center and a venue where Apple is expected to host future events.

In total the project is estimated to cost Apple around $5 billion.
