In the UK we defiantly have a lack of digital TV accessories for our living rooms, that’s all about to change with the new View21 Digital TV recorder, which is not ordinary recorder as it can also access a set of apps you can run on your TV.

The first feature of the View21 is the twin Freeview HD tuners, which can stream and record content at the same time. Allowing you to watch live TV whilst you record another programme.

Another feature packed into the View21 is the ability to apps, including YouTube, Twitter and Flicker.

The Twitter integration is not the sort you will probably expect however, as instead of tweeting from your TV, which would be kind of pointless the View21 just connects to certain hashtags or lists that go with the programme you are watching, for instance if you where watching the Olympics you could add the Team GB hashtag and watch people’s tweets scroll across the bottom of your screen

The View21 will also allow you to share content from your iOS device to view on the big screen.

View21 will be available, when ready at www.view21.com and selected retailers, and will launch with the free iOS App.
