The creators of the desktop web browser, Vivaldi announced an update to their unique web browser this week.
Called version 1.5, it will come with a number of new features, most notably the ability to control your Philips Hue light bulbs right from the browser.
Simply link your Hue system under the theme section of the settings page and then you are ready to control the lights right from the web browser.
Currently, it will illuminate the lights automatically depending on the “color of the web”, however, they have said that there is room to expand upon that, as the CEO of Vivaldi Jon von Tetzchner explained with the following:
“Imagine a world where you get notified for a new email or web notification through a light bulb.”
“Vivaldi is all about customisation and flexibility. Integrating with IoT devices like Philips Hue makes it possible for Vivaldi to adapt to you and your everyday life.”
