Vodafone have just announced the launch of it’s very own Android 4.0 tablet named the Smart Tab II, made by Lenovo the new Smart Tab comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed, a 7 inch screen, 1GHz processor and 4GBs of in-built storage.

The storage can be expanded up to 32GBs however with the use of a microSD card, there’s also a 2 megapixel camera on the rear and another 0.3 megapixel camera on the front.

The screen has a resolution of 1024 x 600 and the whole thing is powered by a 3550 mAh battery.

However it’s not all about the specs and the price for this tablet is defiantly a good reason to pick one up, available on pay-as-you-go from the one-off cost of £150, which will get you 500MBs of data for 60 days free on purchase, after which you will have to upgrade £5 at a time for an extra 250MBs of data.

The tablet is also available on a pay monthly contract with 2GB a month data for £29 on a 24 month contract, you can get an extra 1GB for an extra tenner however.
