Last month Sky announced their new mobile service which is set to offer plans that allow you to roll over your monthly unused data.

This week Vodafone announced that they will be competing with this, announcing the launch of the same functionality for their Pay as you Go customers.

Called Data Rollover, it will be available on Vodafone’s Big Value bundles and it will allow users to carry over their unused data one month to the next, allowing you to get real value for your money by not wasting any part of your data allowance.

Glafkos Persianis, Vodafone UK Commercial Director said the following about it:

“We are delighted to be offering yet another industry first to our customers by introducing Data Rollover. Through listening to our customers, we’re determined to simplify our products and offer even better value for money, so that they can enjoy the UK’s winning network wherever they are.”

To get started with Data Rollover, you simply need to top up or renew your Vodafone Big Value Bundle with the 30 day period, at which point any unused data will roll over to the next 30 days.

It will be available on all Big Value bundle plans, with data options ranging from 500MB up to 12GB.
