Vodafone has today announced the launch of another own-brand smartphone in Europe, called the Vodafone Smart 4G which has been designed to be a budget level device, running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with a 4.5 inch IPS qHD display with a 540 x 960 pixel resolution.

There’s also a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of in-built storage, as well as a microSD card slot for expansion and support for GSM/ Edge, 3G and 4G LTE.

Other specifications also includes a 1,880 mAh battery, GPS support, 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and the option of NFC.

The handset is currently only available in Spain for 200 Euros off contract, with a UK version available soon.
