The idea of the Watch Dogs game, may not just be for a game, as the developer Ubisoft has today released a new web app called WeareData that turns real life data into a publicly accessible surveillance site.

The web app shows a map for three different cities that includes, London, Paris and Berlin, and shows publicly accessible geo-location information within that map.

From the app you can view information like tweets, Foursquare check-ins, traffic and CCTV camera placement, and even track the status of the London Underground, allowing the user to even see where the trains are in London.

Here’s a description of the website from Ubisoft:

“Watch_Dogs WeareData is the first website to gather publicly available data about Paris, London and Berlin, in one location. Each of the three towns is recreated on a 3D map, allowing the user to discover the data that organises and runs modern cities today, in real time. It also displays information about the inhabitants of these cities, via their social media activity.”

Check out the website at the source link below, it’s pretty cool.
