It’s been quite some time since we heard our first rumour about the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone, but today is finally the day that Samsung will be officially announcing the Note 8, which they will do during their Samsung Unpacked event later today, which will take place at 11AM EDT or 4PM BST.

Some of the rumours about the Galaxy Note 8 have suggested that it will feature a 6.3-inch QHD+ display with a 2,990 x 1,440-pixel resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or a Samsung Exynos 8995 processor depending on your region.

It is also said that it will come with 6GB of RAM, either 64GB, 128GB or 256GB of storage, an 8-megapixel camera on the front, and a dual 12-megapixel camera setup on the back.

To top that off, it is said that it will come with Android 7.1.1 Nougat pre-installed.

Of course, all of that is just rumour right now.

We will have the official news about the smartphone later, however, if you like you can watch it happen live via the embed below.
