Earlier this week SpaceX launched yet another rocket into space, and that meant it was time for their eighth attempted sea landing.
However, this time, it didn’t go as well to plan as the last three attempts did, with the rocket crash landing on the drone platform, they didn’t successfully land this time.
We didn’t know the reason for this at the time, due to the drone ship’s camera cutting out during the attempt, it was hard to see what happened.
Elon Musk has released the following video on Twitter for clarification.

Thankfully, they did manage to launch the payload for the mission, which were two communications satellites that were safely delivered shortly after the landing attempt.
SpaceX will be able to learn from this, and we expect many more successful landings after this.
