There’s only about half hour before the first-ever YouTube Music Awards kicks off, which will start at 6PM E.S.T or 11PM GMT and will be hosted in New York City, featuring performances from Lady Gaga, Eminem, Arcade Fire and more.

The event will be hosted by Jason Schwartzman and Reggie Watts, and the winners will be chosen from data that has been collected by YouTube over the last 12 months, with views, shares, likes and subscriptions helping to determine which nominees will win within the various nomination categories.
