If you live in the UK you have probably heard of the book store called Waterstones, who have just bagged a deal with the retailer Amazon to start selling their Kindle e-book reader.

As of yet no more details have been revealed about the partnership with Amazon, but they have said they will be releasing more details in Autumn.

Back in September 2011 Waterstones actually announced their own e-book reader for launch in Spring 2012, but this seems too distant now especially after the Manager Director named the Kindle as “The best digital readers” it seems highly unlikely:

“The best digital readers, the Kindle family, will be married to the singular pleasures of browsing a curated bookshop.

With the combination of our talents we can offer the exceptional customer proposition to which we both aspire.”
