Western Digital’s portable hard drives are known for being one of the best on the market, and they are about the get better with the release of the WD My Passport Ultra Slim, which is available now in both a 1TB and 2TB capacity.

Featuring a slim metal enclosure and 256-bit hardware-based encryption, the drive uses a USB 3.0 or an USB 2.0 connection to connect to your PC, and is sized at just 4.33 x 3.14 x 0.48-inches.

Available from today with a three-year warranty, the 1TB version will be priced at $99.99 (€129.90), but the 2TB version will be released next quarter, priced at $149.99 (€209.90).
