As you may now from our review, we were not to pleased with the amount of applications available on the BB10 platform, there simply wasn’t enough.

Thankfully this is starting to change with the introduction of more apps as time goes on, the most notable off which is of course the cross-platform messaging service, WhatsApp which launched to BlackBerry 10 users earlier today, allowing them to access many of the services other platforms have been able to since the services launch, these include sending text, audio, photos and video messages over the internet, for free.

The app comes with both contact integration and push notifications as well.

You can download it today from BlackBerry World.
