What makes WhatsApp so good is that it provides users with a way of communicating with friends and family without the need of paying anything, however at the moment that only works for text messaging.

WhatsApp aims to change that however with a new move into voice over internet calling, allowing users to call their friends and family for free as well as being able to text them for free.

This started rolling out to Android users a few weeks ago, however it is now being rolled out to iOS users.

Called WhatsApp calling, it allows users to call anyone for free, even if they are in a different country, but as long as you have a phone connection, be it your data plan, or from your WiFI connection.

However at the moment WhatsApp won’t be available to all straight away, but will be rolling out to all iOS users over the next several weeks.
