WhatsApp have just released a new version of their Windows Phone application, which is now available for those running the new Windows Phone 8 OS as opposed to only 7.5 users, which was previously delayed due to the fact that the company wanted  “produce a version that is properly optimised for the latest Windows Phone platform experience.”

The app will be a lot like other platforms basically allowing you to message contacts over the internet, and will automatically find new contacts from your phonebook.

The app will be free to use for the first 12 months and will then cost $0.99 each year afterwards.
