WhatsApp has today been updated for BlackBerry 10 devices, not to bring new features or even a new design, to simply support the BlackBerry Q10 ready for its launch, well the one that should be happening the next couple of weeks anyway.

After making its BlackBerry debut in March of this year, the multi-platform messaging app seems to a have jumped the gun a little, releasing an update to support the Q10, which won’t actually on sale until after May 1st, with Canada being one of the first countries to stock the device.

However, if you do by chance already have a BlackBerry Q10, you can download the new app from the link below, which bring new support for the Q10’s 3.1 inch screen, native push notifications and contact integration.
