Whirlpool and P&G have this week teamed up to unveil a new laundry machine, designed to remove wrinkles and odors from your clothes, without actually washing them.

The new machine is called Swash, and has been designed to allow users to get their clothes looking clean in just 10 minutes, without the need of going to a third-party service.

To use it, the user simply clips the clothes into place, inserts a Swash Pod cup filled with Whirlpool’s “uniquely designed solution” into the machine and press go. The machine will then spray the solution onto your clothes and then quickly dry it soon after.

To do all of this, the machine simply plugs into a standard 120-volt outlet, without the need of any water, plumbing, pipes, vents or even a professional installation.

On top of that, the Swash is only 53.3 inches tall, 54.5 inches deep and 16.5 inches wide, and it will work with a range of fabrics including denim, wool, polyester, lycra, cotton, cashmere, sequins, beading and lace.

You can pre-order the Swash exclusively from Bloomingdale in the UK, as well as other retailers in the US in September 2014, when it will be available for $499. The Swash Pods will also be available in the Awaken, Recharge and Unwind scents, costing $6.99 per 12 cups.
