There’s been a few of them, but finally we have a release date for the Wikipad, which has today been revealed for release in the UK on September 27th for £250.

for which you get a tablet featuring a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor with a 12-core GPU, which is now a bit dated considering the Tegra 4 processor has now been announced, however the processor should be good enough to play games.

Alongside which there’s also a dual-analogue controller case which the tablet slides into and allows you to game on Android with the same accuracy you will find with a normal console controller.

Also featured is a 7 inch HD display with a 16:10 touch capacity and with a HDMI output you can also play games on the TV, or even a 3D TV.

The Wikipad also runs on Android, with 16GB of onboard storage and expansion with an SD card for a further 32GB of storage.
