Today Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hyrb revealed some details about the next big update for the Xbox One, which will be released for all Xbox users this month after it has been interesting with their Xbox Insiders for some time now.

There are a range of features in this update, however, one of the biggest and the headline of this article is the ability to upload a custom Gamerpic for your Xbox profile, which may or may not be a bad move.

On top of that, the update will also add Mixer co-streaming with your Xbox friend list.

Here’s the full list of features that are included in the new Xbox update:

  • Upload custom Gamerpics to your Xbox profile; choose how you want to express yourself.
  • Mixer co-streaming is now on console, for everyone: with just a few clicks, you and up to three of your friends can stream together in a single broadcast. Plus, never miss your friends’ streams inside your Club and Arena Tournaments.
  • Sign-in to your Xbox One with just one press of the Xbox button on your controller. Now you can make your controller truly your own.
  • New user-generated tournaments for Killer Instinct on Xbox One means it’s never been easier to go battle with your friends.

This update should hit your Xbox later this month, at which point it will probably be automatically updated if you have that feature enabled.

We will let you know when it is launched.
