According to a report on Venture Beat by the avid leakster, Evan Blass, Microsoft may soon announce the availity and release date of Windows 10 Mobile.

In fact, Blass says that this date will be March 17th, from when users will reportedly be able to grab the Windows 10 Mobile upgrade, however, they will need to do so manually according to the report, and Microsoft will only be rolling it out, rather than giving it to everyone straight away.

Microsoft has already confirmed that a range of Lumia phones has been approved to receive the Windows 10 Mobile update, however, that upgrade was originally expected to have happened last December, which it obviously didn’t.

When it does make it to your device you will simply need to initiate it from your phone’s settings.

We don’t yet know which devices will get the update, but as soon as we do we will let you know.

We do know that when it hits, it will come with a range of upgrades and options to make it a much better smartphone experience, with closer integration for services like Skype, Outlook and Office.
