Microsoft has today announced that Windows Phone 8 will be finally be getting a YouTube application, which was previously only available using the mobile browser.

The application will allow users to access various videos, channels, playlists and pin any of them to the Start Screen, the app will also allow users to sign in their YouTube accounts and access you uploads, playlists and video lists, as well as search content.

You can download the app today for free from the Windows Phone app store.
