Withings has this week unveiled a brand new smartwatch, called the Activité Steel, the new smartwatch joins Withings Activité line of wearables, but offers a higher quality than their previous devices, featuring a stainless steel case with a silicone strap.

It also uses analogue hands to show the user the time, with a smaller analogue dial for showing the percentage of user’s completion against their activity goals.

These goals can include the ability to track steps, calories burned, running completions and swimming lengths.

The watch is also water-resistant up to 30 metres, can track sleep and features a smart vibrating alarm, with automatic time correction when travelling across time zones.

The watch will also work with the new Health Mate app, allowing the user to log the food that the user consumes thanks to their partnership with MyFitnessPal. The app also features a number of other integrations from over 100 partners.

Withings say that the watch can last up to eight months before needing a charge.

The Withings Activité Steel is available now for £140.
