Withings has this week announced a brand new activity tracker that they have dubbed the Go, which aims to be the activity tracker you choose when looking this year, offering a ton of tracking features for a budget price tag.

It also features an E-Ink screen to keep the battery consumption down, whilst offering decent enough feedback to actually tell you what is going on.

With this, Withings say that the battery in the Go can last up to eight months before it needs to be changed with a new CR2032 button cell battery.

The Withings Go is also capable of tracking the user’s steps, distance covered, sleep and running and swimming activity. The wearable is also water resistant up to 5 metres, and is capable of recognising vibrations to tell when it should begin tracking, it will then push this tracking information to the iOS and Android Health Mate app, which works with a number of partners for better integrations.

It can also be worn on the wrist, clipped to a belt or attached to a keychain.

The Withings Go will be available in Q1 of 2016, priced at £50 for the black, blue, green, red or yellow model.
