Microsoft released a video for their Xbox Daily show at Gamescom 2015 this week with a few new details about the new things that are coming to Xbox, and more specifically to the purpose of this article, the Xbox One Elite Controller.

Now available to pre-order, Microsoft shows off how an Xbox One application will allow users to customise the Elite controller with up to 250 different configurations for different games and scenarios. You can put two of these setups on your controller and quickly switch between them by using the slide switch in the centre of the controller.

The video will also allow users to customise the controller itself for specific games on the go.

It will come with a set of 4 paddles, 6 thumbsticks of which 2 are standard, 2 tall and 2 domed, and a set of 2 D-pads of which 1 faceted and the other is standard.

Check out the controller in the video below, Microsoft starts talking about it at the 30 minute mark.
