Microsoft has today announced that the Xbox One Stereo Headset and the Stereo Headset Adapter will be available in March, priced at £59.99 and £19.99 respectively.

The Stereo Headset will allow users to listen to their game audio and chat audio through the handset, and also features a unidirectional microphone.

Microsoft also claim that the handset will provide 20Hz to 20kHz audio, providing both deep bass and clear highs, and features a comfortable over-ear design.

The Xbox One Stereo Headset adapter will connect directly to the Xbox One wireless controller, slotting into the bottom of the controller, it allows the user to adjust the balances of in-game audio and chat audio, as well as allowing the mic to be muted.

The Adapter will primary be used for those who want to plug-in an existing pair of headphones or earphones whilst playing, although chat will only be provided through the headset, so you will need a separate source for the in-game audio.
