At IFA 2016 today, Xiaomi announced a new smartwatch and fitness tracking wearable named the Amazfit.

It’s available to purchase today for around $120 and features a rugged design that allows it to be scratch and water resistant to an IP67 certification.

That’s thanks to the ceramic casing, which can support the standard 22mm width watch straps, allowing for complete customisation of the smartwatch.

In terms of specs, the Amazfit has a 1.34-inch display that has a 300 x 300-pixel resolution, and unspecified 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 512MB of RAM.

The smartwatch also comes with 4GB of internal storage, and a 2,000mAh rechargeable battery that claims to be capable of providing up to 35 hours when using the GPS sensor, or up to 5 days without it.

It is capable of tracking your activity via a heart rate sensor and GPS, and features NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and Wi-Fi to connection to Xiaomi’s Mi Fit app on Android or iOS.

The Amazfit will go on sale in China from August 31, we don’t yet know other regions availability, but you can find out more about it at the source link.
