A new smart home assistant hit Indiegogo this week, called XIBOT the assistant is looking for $10,000 in funding to make what they think will be your new robotic family member.

It was shown off at CES 2016, and aims to keep track of your e-mails, messages, phone calls, shopping lists and more in one place, it has been designed to be a personal assistant for you, and even allows you to monitor your house anywhere and anytime via a Wi-Fi connection.

Designed by a Chinese development company, the robot is still in its early concept stage, so there’s not much information about it just yet, and there’s no view of it actually working, with only a video that shows renders of the concept device.
