Apple has today announced new details to its eighth annual iTunes Festival, announced the initial list of bands that will be playing at the gig, as well as those which you can put your name into the pot to see from today.

“The iTunes Festival in London is back with another stunning line-up of world class performers and tremendous new acts,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services. “These live shows capture the heart and soul of iTunes and we love bringing them to our customers in the Roundhouse, as well as to the millions of people watching all over the world for free.”

Kicking off at the beginning of September, the event will be headlined by Kasabian, Moroon 5, Pharell Williams, Beck Sam Smith, David Guetta, 5 Seconds of Summer, Calvin Harris, Blondie, Kylie, Robert Plant Sam Smith and many more (these are just the confirmed names so far), all of whom will be playing at the show on their own individual nights.

Nights which the viewer can see by applying for tickets via the dedicated iTunes Festival page, or by using the iTunes Festival 2014 application.

After the names have been picked from the draw, winners will be able to view their chosen band at The Roundhouse in London.

Thos who don’t get tickets will still be able to watch any of the gigs live, or after they have taken place via Apple’s apps for iOS and the Applt TV. Users can also tune in via iTunes on the PC or Mac.
