Amazon have launched a new feature that works with Twitter, called #AmazonBasket (or #AmazonCart in the US), the feature will allow users to add an item to their Amazon basket by replying to a Tweet with the hashtag to corresponds with your country.

Once Tweeted Amazon will then automatically add the linked item to your Amazon shopping basket automatically.

To use it you do however need to link your Twitter and Amazon account first, which you can do by following the instructions on Amazon’s setup page for the service.

Once that’s done you will be notified each time a product has been added to your basket through either the @MyAmazonUK or the @MyAmazon Twitter account depending on where you live.

Products will however only be added if they have the Amazon link in the original Tweet.
