Today McDonald’s and Uber announced a new partnership that will mean that you will finally be able to order McDonald’s without leaving your home, if that’s your kind of thing.

It will come as part of Uber’s UberEats service, which will allow you to order from McDonalds for home delivery from a number of locations within London, Nottingham, and Leeds.

There are 22 locations offering the service in London, and 10 locations within both Nottingham and Leeds.

If you live close to one of these locations you will be able to order you food through the app from 7 AM up until 2 AM, however, you will only be able to order if your address is within 1.5 miles of a restaurant. Once ordered, Uber will pick up the food via a courier on a bike or a moped and deliver it to you.

At the moment, the delivery service is very limited, however, if it proves to be successful, it is possible that it might expand further. Claude Abi-Gerges, a McDonald’s franchise owner from London said the following about it:

“Delivery is something that my customers often ask about so it’s exciting that we’re now up and running with McDelivery in a selection of my London restaurants. “

“We’re thrilled that we’ve been chosen as one of the first groups of restaurants in the country to offer the service and look forward to hearing our customers feedback.”
