Earlier today Eurogamer reported that Call of Duty: Black Ops will soon be playable on the Xbox One, now available to play via Microsoft’s backwards compatibility scheme for the Xbox one.

This came after the above advertisement appeared on the writer’s Xbox One, stating that Black Ops is now “playable on Xbox One” on the Xbox 360.

This comes after Microsoft has hinted at the release of Black Ops on the Xbox One since last year.

Shortly after Eurogamer’s article was posted, Microsoft’s Major Nelson revealed that the game is now available on the Xbox One in a Twitter post.
