Players of Battlefield 4 on console might be happy to know that you can now rent servers on the console version of the game, allowing users to set up both private and public servers for Battlefield 4 thanks to the Rent-a-Server program, the same ability that PC gamers have been able to do since soon after the game’s launch.

However DICE has already discovered an issue with the programs release on the Xbox One, and have already temporarily removed the feature until they find a fix, so for now you can only rent a server on the PS4.

When you do get to use the service, it will offer you a number of control options, allowing players to customise the player count, map rotations and everything else to do with the service, allowing users to get it set up to their needs.

DICE also released a big fix for the game that stopped the issue where an invisible shield would appear around enemies.

Servers will be priced at $1.49 for a day, $6.99 for 7 days, $24.99 for 30 days and $59.99 for 90 days in the US.
