Alongside all of the other announcements from Microsoft at this year’s E3, Xbox and 343 Industries revealed the launch about Halo Wars 2, as the successor to Halo Wars, it will take the series back to its strategy based roots.

In the new version, players will be able to play with new enemies and features like the Mantis mechs from Halo 4 and 5, with new controllable units, but with a continuation of the original game’s story, where the Spirit of Fire crew battles the Brutes on The Ark, a location from Halo 3.
