Omate has this week revealed that they plan to launch a new crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for a brand new smartwatch, the Omate Rise.
To kick off on Indiegogo on December 7th, the Omate Rise is expected to ship in March 2016 featuring 3G connectivity, a round touchscreen that has a 360 x 360 pixel resolution, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity.
It will also feature a MediaTek MT2601 ARM Cortex A7 dual-core processor, with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a 580 mAh battery and a water-resistant case.
And on top of that it will run Google’s Android Wear operating system.
You can take a sneak peek at the smartwatch via the video below.
But you will have to be quick if you want to grab the Omate Rise as the campaign will last just 48 hours, after which the retail price for the smartwatch will be $349.
But if you back one you will be able to grab a huge discount, with packages available for between $199 and $219, and those who do so will also get a free Bluetooth heart rate monitor (normally $49). The campaign will be looking to raise $30 thousand during those 48 hours.
