Everything but our power strips seems to be getting smarter, but a company called Good Gadgets are trying to change that with a new modular power strip that they have launched on Kickstarter this week.

With the launch they are aiming to change the way we use power strips in the future, in a time when we especially need it with a growing number of devices.

The strip helps you with this by allowing you to build the strip for your specific needs, with the ability to add other features like wireless charging sensors, lights, wireless speakers and more.

Sadly at the moment it looks as though the system will only be compatible with EU or US plugs, but it is probably possible for them to launch a UK version.

Check out the project at the source link below, it is looking to raise €50,000 to get into production.
