YouTube for iOS has just been updated with some new features that I am sure a lot of you have been waiting for, mainly the addition of live stream viewing, which allows users to view current live streams right from the app, allowing users to view game previews, concerts and even political events.

Alongside which, YouTube for iOS 1.3 also brings the addition of a ‘send to TV’ playlist, allowing users to queue up videos they wish to view, and then play them through a paired device, such as a Google TV, Xbox 360 or PS3.

The update is free and available from the iTunes App Store now.
