Today YouTube announced the release of their Daydream-only application for Google’s new VR headsets.

The YouTube VR app has been designed specifically for the Daydream View headset, which will work alongside compatible phones like the Google Pixel headsets.

With the app, you can view content from a number of partners who are creating VR content, view playlists that have been stored on a YouTube account, and search YouTube with your voice.

YouTube has partnered with a number of providers to make VR content available, including Natural History Museum, StyleHaul, Curiscope and Tastemade.

You can check out the app via the video below.

You can download the app through the Daydream VR hub if you have the relevant phone and headset today for free.
