YouTube are testing a brand new feature that will enable viewers to answer multiple choice questions during a video, currently only available in the beta, the new feature will allow people who upload videos to YouTube and add questions to their clips, at which point they can specify the point of which it should pop up.

Questions would be posted in a normal format or in a multiple choice one, allowing uploaders to offer hints if the viewer is repeatedly getting the wrong answer, and can also reveal when a correct answer has been selected.

However don’t get used to this feature as YouTube has made it clear the Video Questions Editor is an experiment:

“There is no plan for long-term support of the feature and may be removed at any time without prior notification.”
